Veluwe Cycling Days 2026

Will you be taking part in the Veluwe Cycling Days, an annual cycling event in Elburg, Ermelo, Harderwijk, Nunspeet, Oldebroek and Putten? From 24 to 26 September 2026, you can cycle along some wonderful new routes, starting this year from three locations across these six municipalities. Will you cycle for just one day, or will you opt for a three-day pass? The choice is yours!

You can take part for just €6.50 per person per day. Fancy the full experience? Then choose a three-day pass for €15.00 and enjoy everything the Veluwe has to offer for three days. You can set off between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm. Tickets are available at the starting points; no booking is required!

You can set off every day between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm from one of the three locations listed below:

• De Zanderij Sports Centre – Ermelo
From here, you can cycle a varied 45 km route through Ermelo and Putten. Feel free to stop off along the way at interesting spots such as a pick-your-own garden, a museum or a brewery. At VVV Putten , you can also learn more about staying safe on your bike – even into your 100s! Address: Oude Telgterweg 205, Ermelo

• Veluwe Poort – Harderwijk
A beautiful 53-kilometre route along the water’s edge, through the countryside and back via the Veluwe forests. A varied ride where nature, tranquillity and sweeping views blend seamlessly. Address: Outdoor Harderwijk , Boekhorstlaan 1

• Gateway to the Veluwe – Nunspeet
Start at the informative Nunspeet Visitor Centre for a ride through beautiful countryside, past Lake Veluwe and through woodland. Be amazed by the surroundings of Nunspeet, Elburg and Oldebroek on this 53 km route, with plenty of opportunities for a pleasant stop-off. Address: Plesmanlaan 2, Nunspeet

Are you staying overnight or having dinner?

Don’t live nearby but fancy joining in the cycling for several days? Why not turn it into a mini-break! Attractive packages have been put together especially for participants in collaboration with local partners. Spend the night in the heart of the Veluwe countryside, by the water or in another special spot, and enjoy yourself even more.
