The Putter Stoomgemaal is one of eight still working steam pumping stations in the Netherlands. Visit during the operating days and experience this unique heritage in action. The barn includes miniature steam engines. Children can obtain a helper's diploma. The pumping station is wheelchair accessible. The volunteers will be happy to explain how it works.

There is no charge to visit the Putter Stoomgemaal . However, a voluntary contribution is greatly appreciated. In the barn at the steam pumping station, the hostesses will be happy to pour you a cup of coffee or tea. There is a soft drink for children.
