Karin Bloemen rarely performs alone on stage. Almost always, there is a band, a pianist, a small choir or a fellow artist beside or behind her. In this performance, she is entirely on her own, though naturally with the support of accompanying music tracks. She will draw on the repertoire from her long career. As a result, in this performance you will hear music from her own band, Cor Bakker on the piano, the Amsterdam Sinfonietta and the Metropole Orchestra. In addition, she will, of course, perform comedy sketches from the repertoire she has built up over the years. Furthermore, especially for this occasion, she will talk about her own experiences with people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
