VVV Putten.nl, an initiative of VVV Putten wants to fully comply with the accessibility requirements of DigiToegankelijk.nl as soon as possible. Complying with this standard will make our website, among other things, more user-friendly and more accessible for everyone.
Approach to improve the accessibility of our website:
We are taking the following measures to promote compliance with accessibility requirements:
- Research: Independent experts have reviewed our website for accessibility before 2024. Bottlenecks found will be permanently resolved.
- Inform organisation: VVV Putten ten staff understand the importance of digital accessibility and legal obligations.
- Employee training: Over the next 2 years, employees will receive training in creating accessible content for the website
- Software/design: We work with Insiders online to find an accessible design.
VVV Putten also continues to work on accessibility with www.vvvputten.nl/en.
At www.vvvputten.nl/en, we link to other websites, such as those of stakeholders, (national) partners, foundations, etc. Not all information on these platforms meets accessibility requirements. We are looking for ways to make new information accessible here as well.
PDFs
The web guidelines place high demands on PDFs. Information is provided in short texts as much as possible. We try to use Pdf documents as little as possible. At present, not all these files may yet comply with the guidelines
