Within minutes you can be in the Putterbos from the city centre. Enjoy the peace, nature and quiet on a nice walk or get sporty on the trim tracks and playing field. Let the children have fun on the new playground equipment and stimulate their imagination. The renovated picnic tables invite you to enjoy a delicious picnic. Dogs are also welcome to wander through the woods.
The Putterbos is about 100 hectares in size and several burial mounds can be found there.
The information board on Prins Hendrikweg is the starting point of several walking and cycling routes. A nice walk includes the Putterbos walk (9km) by following the blue signposting.
