On the scooter with Green Valley Electric Fun; Fun guaranteed!

Just outside Putten, in Speuld, Peter van den Brink runs his company "Green Valley Electric Fun". For a unique experience on the Veluwe, hire your electric E-Fatbike or E-Fatmax here. Marieke, Lia and I wanted to experience such a super cool experience ourselves. So on Monday morning, we were hospitably welcomed to come FatMaxing.

With great enthusiasm, Peter gave us a clear explanation of the electric E-FatBike and the E-FatMax. Now it was time for action! There we went... on the scooter!

With Peter's instructions fresh in our minds, we cautiously started the first kilometres. "Thumb on the gas and 2 fingers on the brake....thumb on the gas and..."

Peter knows the forest area like the back of his hand, all the little paths and special places he knows how to find. Peter always prefers to go into the woods with us, as a guide. If he can't make it with you, you will be given a route to suit you and navigate easily by GPS.

We arrive at het Solse Gat after a few kilometres; legend has it that there was once a powerful monastery there where the monks did not behave properly. If you look around carefully, you can still see the monks standing there... We were even allowed to take a photo with them.

We continued the route towards Putten, heading for the Forest Tower. The route also passed the artwork 'Medusa' the famous figure from Greek Mythology. This artwork and the artwork of the monks were created by storm-fallen trees made by Theo Borger, André van Beek and Jan Mastenbroek.

Time for the rough stuff; the trails are getting more challenging! But by now we have the scooter well under control and steer very deftly through the narrowest trails.

Recently, it has been very wet and we notice it immediately. We plodded through the blubber, sometimes hopping on and off the scooter to avoid a tree stump! With occasional little squeals and lots of laughter, we thoroughly enjoy this cool tour.

Arriving at Landgoed Schovenhorst , the Bostoren tower flaunts its 40-metre height above the treetops. The estate was created in 1848, famous for its five arboretum gardens. The trail continues through the centre of gravity towards Garderen, with a coffee stop at the Ice Age, we have almost reached the end point.
