In 2025, nature-enhancing measures were applied in this area and the Veluws Verleden walking route (3km) was realised. The start of the walk is at the information board opposite the car park on Krachtighuizerweg. Walking through the woods and across the heathland, you will encounter several relics from the prehistoric past. Follow the orange arrows. On the large boulders you will find historical information about Putten. On the artwork 'De Tijd' also called 'Woodhenge', inspired by 'Stonehenge', you will see a timeline with important dates from Putten's history. You will also pass by the centre of gravity. Discover burial mounds along the route and enjoy the beautiful view over the Veluwe on the Bostoren.
